Ferd. Piatnik & Söhne partners with Sybarit AB

We are pleased to announce that Ferd. Piatnik & Söhne and Sybarit AB has reached an agreement regarding distribution of Sybarit in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.  With a launch planned for the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February, 2007, Sybarit will be available to consumers in all three countries toward the Spring of 2007.

“As the success of Sybarit in Sweden and Scandinavia became apparent to us during 2006, we became increasingly interested,” says Dieter Strehl, Managing Director of Piatnik. “Now, after having further researched the market and playtested the game, we have become convinced Sybarit presents a terrific opportunity and is also very timely given the current interest in food and drink as well as customs and etiquette, both in the printed press and on television.  We are therefore very much looking forward to bringing Sybarit to Austrian, German and Swiss consumers as soon as possible.”
