It is with great pleasure we can announce the signing of a Letter of Intent to appoint Fundex Games Ltd. as our exclusive partner in Canada and the United States. A limited and focused launch of Sybarit is expected around the end of July or early August, 2007

Ferd. Piatnik & Söhne partners with Sybarit AB

We are pleased to announce that Ferd. Piatnik & Söhne and Sybarit AB has reached an agreement regarding distribution of Sybarit in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. With a launch planned for the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February, 2007, Sybarit will be available to consumers in all three countries toward the Spring of 2007.

“As the success of Sybarit in Sweden and Scandinavia became apparent to us during 2006, we became increasingly interested,” says Dieter Strehl, Managing Director of Piatnik. “Now, after having further researched the market and playtested the game, we have become convinced Sybarit presents a terrific opportunity and is also very timely given the current interest in food and drink as well as customs and etiquette, both in the printed press and on television. We are therefore very much looking forward to bringing Sybarit to Austrian, German and Swiss consumers as soon as possible.”

Sybarit currently available in eight languages

Following the introduction in Sweden in 2003, and other Nordic markets, the expansion plans of Sybarit are now proceeding, with the recent completion eight translated versions. Sybarit is now available in the four Nordic languages of Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish as well as English (UK and US versions), German and Dutch.

Additional language editions are underway with completion expected in the near future.

Trade Mark registrations successfully completed

Sybarit is now a Registered Trade Mark in 49 countries throughout the world, providing a solid base to build on both for the existing game as well as future product introductions.

Founding of Sybarit AB and Sybarit International Ltd.

The establishment of Sybarit Ab (Sweden) and its subsidiary Sybarit International Ltd. (Hong Kong) is completed. Both companies have as their main function to create a network of partners throughout the world working to launch Sybarit game as well as future products under the Sybarit brand.

To manage these two companies, we have brought on board Roger Gehrke, formerly Category Manager at Scanditoy. Roger has nearly 25 years of experience in the Toy and Games industry, having worked with leading brands in several countries in Europe.

“Having seen first-hand what a terrific game Sybarit is - as well as the potential for new and exciting products under the Sybarit brand - I am very excited about the opportunities and am looking forward to the challenge ahead,” says Roger.

Agreement signed for Nordic territory

Following the huge success of the launch of Sybarit in Sweden, ALGA and CMG have agreed to continue its cooperation by extending the distribution agreement to all Nordic territories with product launches to follow in 2007.

“We are very excited about continuing to work with Sybarit in the rest of Scandinavia and Finland,” says Anders Pålsson, Category Manager at BRIO Scanditoy. “With the terrific response in Sweden to Sybarit, we are now looking forward to bringing the game to our other Nordic markets in 2007 and beyond.”
